In 2010, Oscar Chess Club was founded in the heart of Jaipur with a simple idea—to bring world-class chess education to every curious mind, starting from a small rented room and a second-hand chessboard.
It all began when our founder, a passionate chess mentor and national-level coach, began training a handful of kids from the neighborhood. With just 3-4 students and a deep desire to teach, he created an environment of learning, discipline, and fun.
As the children began to learn, they started excelling—winning medals in district, state, and national tournaments. Their transformation sparked a realization: quality chess coaching was a rare gem in India. And so, Oscar Chess Club evolved from a hobby project into a mission-driven academy.
